BOTOX® 100 U English Alternative

The active ingredient in Botox® is botulinum toxin type A. Botox® is presented as a white powder in a transparent glass vial. Prior to injection, the product must be dissolved in a sterile saline solution.

Botox® is used to eliminate glabellar lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, other fine lines or deep facial wrinkles. It is also used to control persistent muscle spasms in the eyelids and face; muscle spasms in the neck and shoulders; muscle spasms in the wrists and hands of stroke patients; excessive sweating of the armpits; leakage of urine due to bladder problems associated with spinal cord injury or MS; prevention of migraine headaches.

Effects last for about 3 to 6 months.
